Light of Heart

by

I taught the young women this month about the heavy weight of sin being like a rock that we carry around needlessly. I expressed my testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ, based on past experiences.

Yet, I never realized that my own heart felt heavy and weighed down in the present. What steps did I need to take to feel light of Heart? The same ones I taught them.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30

The Atonement cleansed my heart and filled me with the love and light only He can offer. On my morning walk, the sun highlighted this dewy dahlia with a similar beauty that I felt.
